Open Studios results are...

Open Studios was Awesome! We had 76 visitors over the course of the weekend and one couple came all the way from Hilton Head for Open Studios and I was on their route! I had so many great people come by the studio to see my work, I was very pleased and happy with the outcome and not to mention exhausted and still recovering! I have hopes to participate again next year even though we will have a little baby in tow!!!

Open Studios Opening Reception

This show has got to be awesome! There will be 124 pieces hung at the Mac Gallery in Greenville, Friday, October 30, 2009! Each piece had to be 12" x 12" so all of the pieces will be the same size, different themes and different mediums! AWESOME!!!

Open Studios 2009!

Greenville's Open Studios is November 6, 7, and 8 and this year my studio will be open to the public for the first time! Mark your calendars and get ready for a great weekend. Not only is it Open Studios but it's also First Friday! Lots of art for everyone! Come out to my studio and see what's been going on lately. I will have a lot to choose from, paintings big and small, paper collages, fabric collages, waxed collages and handmade pillows just to name a few things! I will be offering the opportunity for buyers to use a charge card if needed through the Metro Art's Counsil. I'm excited and I hope you are as well! If you need for me to mail you a flyer/booklet with times and directions just email me and we can set that up. Peace Out!

A Million Little Pictures Update

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this exhibition. We had such a great time going through everyones photos and creating the exhibition. The exhibition is tonight at Art House from 7-10pm! The show will also be up next friday October 2nd from 7-10pm! I have already took photos and posted them up on our flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/arthousecoop/sets/72157622327857739/.

We will have a webcam going tonight if you want to check out the show live. The broadcast will start at about 7pm and be turned off about 9pm. Please note that we can not change the camera angle and that only 50 people are aloud to view at a time. Please keep checking back if you can not get in right away. If you are not going to be able to make it tonight, we hope you can make it on January 8th, 2010 at 111 Minna in San Francisco, Ca at 5pm. (Please note you must be 21 and older to attend the San Francisco show. The show at Art House is all ages.) We will add more pictures from the show tonight later as well so more from the 111 Minna Show in January. Thank you again for participating and making this exhibition a success.
